In honour of the silver jubilee of Dubai Summer Surprises, Dubai Mall is offering a lucky shopper the chance to win AED1 million, as part of its The Biggest Deal of the Year campaign.
Visitors who spend at least AED500 across the mall’s stores, restaurants and entertainment concepts can enter the campaign by submitting their receipts at the on-ground activation located at the Star Atrium.
Besides the big prize of AED1 million in cash, shoppers stand to win weekly prizes of Emaar gift cards worth AED25,000.
The winner of The Biggest Deal of the Year campaign will be announced at the end of the shopping festival.
Last week, Emaar Malls held a flash sale, offering shoppers discounts of up to 90 per cent across stores in Dubai Mall, Dubai Marina Mall and Dubai Hills Mall.
Members of Emaar’s loyalty programme, U By Emaar, received quintuple the UPoints on purchases over AED500 when shopping at Dubai Hills Mall and Dubai Marina Mall.
Various interactive games, activities and digital experiences were held at Dubai Mall’s Grand Atrium, Dubai Hills Mall’s Star Atrium and Dubai Marina Mall’s Dome Atrium.
Dubai Summer Surprises runs until September 4, with sports, fashion, beauty, home and accessory brands offering discounts of between 25 per cent and 75 per cent.
“Across the full period, there will be so many activities, events and promotions happening that people will not want to leave Dubai for the summer,” said Mohammed Feras, director of the Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment’s retail registration division.
“I encourage people to keep their eyes on our social media channels so they don’t miss out on any good deals.”
More than 5,000 retail outlets of over 1,000 brands across the city will participate in the event.
“Dubai Summer Surprises has been at the heart of Dubai’s summer season for a quarter of a century,” said Ahmed Al Khaja, CEO of Dubai Festivals and Retail Establishment.
“Dubai has transformed from a small city on a creek to one of the leading tourist destinations in the world, and Dubai Summer Surprises has grown with it.”
