UAE-based retailer GMG has launched the first Monoprix Maison store in the country, at the Springs Souk Mall in Barsha Heights, Dubai.
This opening marks the brand’s first store outside of France brand and reflects GMG’s plans to capitalise on evolving customer preferences, a growing population as well as expanded home ownership to grow the brand across the UAE.
Deputy chairman and CEO of GMG, Mohammad A. Baker, said: “Our mission is to lead the evolution of the retail industry in the UAE and beyond.

Part of Groupe Casino’s Monoprix brand, Maison will retail various houseware items including kitchenware, cutlery, glassware, kitchen storage & linen, bedding, bathroom linen and candles.
Another location is slated for opening in Abu Dhabi in November this year.
In April 2022 GMG acquired the Middle East operations of Groupe Casino’s brands including Géant, Franprix and Monoprix from Dubai Holding.
