The luxury cosmetics brand unveiled its latest store in Dubai Mall, which a statement described as a ‘portal into mint-green futurism’ where customers could “explore and select a complete range of skin, hair and body care products, distinguished by botanical and laboratory-generated ingredients of the highest quality.”

The company also runs its own e-commerce platform, which offers same-day delivery in Dubai. Apart from this, another store is located in Yas Mall Abu Dhabi, with The Lighthouse, Comptoir 102, and LOCAL being some of its stockists.

Harbert Australia Private Equity purchased a minority stake in the company in 2010, which Aesop used to fund growth. Later, Aesop sold a 65 per cent stake in its business to Brazilian direct-sales cosmetics company Natura Cosméticos in December 2012 for US$71.6 million, which is approximately AU$100 million. Natura acquired complete ownership in December 2016. Aesop launched a high-end homewares product in September 2018.

Aesop’s parent company Natura & Co is a Brazilian global personal care cosmetics group headquartered in São Paulo. The company owns The Body Shop and Avon Products apart from Aesop, and posted R$ (Brazilian Reals) 36.9 billion as total revenues for the year 2020.
