Cara Jewellers opens international outlet in London

News

As the first step of its international expansion, Dubai-based jewellery brand Cara Jewellers has unveiled its first boutique abroad – at Bond Street’s Burlington Arcade in London’s West End.

This news comes on the heels of the brand’s recent recognition as the ‘Contemporary Jewellery of the Year’ at the 2023 edition of the Retail Jeweller Middle East Awards.

Cara Jewellers’ director, Anil Pethani, said: “We have many returning clients from the UK who visit us in Dubai. With our unrivalled commitment to customer care, it was an obvious choice for us to open our first overseas outlet in London, to bring the personalised service we offer in Dubai to the UK.”

The Cara boutique will feature a VIP area on the second floor, for guests to discuss designs and try customised pieces and a fully fitted workshop. With these facilities, Cara will be one of the few jewellery stores in the UK to offer completion of customisation on-site, within a short period, depending on the design.

The brand was first established in Dubai in 2005 by Kiran and Anil Pethani.

Recently, Cara Jewellers has embarked on new expansion which began with the opening of a flagship store at Dubai Hills Mall.

Dating back to the early 19th century, Burlington Arcade is home to independent clothes and jewellery boutiques.

“We are delighted to secure a premium position in the iconic Burlington Arcade,” added Mr Anil Pethani.

“This prime location in the heart of London’s luxury shopping district offers excellent security measures and a magnificent shopping experience. This is the first step in a long-term commitment to growing Cara Jewellers in the UK.”
