Cara Jewellers, a Dubai-based jewellery brand, has won the ‘Contemporary Jewellery of the Year’ award at the 2023 edition of the Retail Jeweller Middle East Awards.
Announced recently at a ceremony in Dubai, the fourth edition of the annual Awards recognised leading GCC jewellers for their creativity in retail, design and marketing.

The Contemporary Jewellery of the Year Award is one of the 15 awards presented to the UAE retailers at the event, after an evaluation process conducted by an expert team from The Retail Jeweller – a bi-monthly business magazine for the jewellery industry.
Established in 2005, the custom-crafted jewellery brand has recently opened a new branch in Dubai Hills Mall and announced plans for expansion overseas. This new location is hoped to become the launchpad for a large-scale rebranding and expansion program, which will also see Cara open its first international branch in Burlington Arcade, London. Prior to that, company’s expansion primarily focussed on new stores close to its Sheikh Zayed Road headquarters.
“With almost twenty years in the local market, we have served visitors and residents from all around the world, which has helped us to build the Cara reputation among jewellery buyers across the globe.Our plans for overseas expansion reflect the growth of the brand into a worldwide name,” said Mr Pethani.
