Australian active and loungewear brand for women Cotton On Body, part of Sharaf Group in the UAE, has launched its newest store at the Nakheel Mall in Palm Jumeirah, Dubai.
The brand’s first two stores are located in City Centre Deira and Ibn Battuta Mall.
Sharaf Group said in its statement: “Sharaf Group is striving hard to offer the best shopping experience to everyone in the region.
“Our goal is to nurture our long-standing relationship with Middle Eastern audiences by expanding our presence across the region and elevating the brand experience across an omnichannel ecosystem that encompasses retail stores, e-commerce and social media.”
Since its beginnings in 2007 in Australia, Cotton On Body has become a major player in the lifestyle category – launching after a successful trial of underwear in Cotton On stores and in true Cotton On Group fashion, a casual chat between leaders during a trip to the snow. First opening its doors as a pop-up in Sydney’s Pitt Street Mall, selling women’s lingerie, dressing gowns, ‘hoodies’ and boxer shorts, the brand sold one million pairs of underwear within just a year of opening.
Sharaf Group was established in 1975 as a shipping agency with a vision of becoming a leading international organization.
It comprises more than 60 operating companies in more than six business sectors, including shipping, consumer products and retail, employing over 9500 people.
