Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) has announced the start of the campaign Sharjah Shopping Promotions 2022 in all of the emirate’s cities and regions which will run until January 29.
Over 46 days, the event will see a vast array of promotions at all shopping centres, as well as tourist attractions and family entertainment destinations across Sharjah.
Moreover, the event will be accompanied by numerous marketing activities in cooperation with the SCCI’s Commercial Shopping Centers Sector Working Group, with the organisers also liaising with several departments and government agencies in Sharjah.
Malls, markets and retail stores will be competing to offer discounts of up to 75 per cent on various product categories, in addition to offering a wide range of valuable prizes and gifts for shoppers.
SCCI’s director general, His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al-Awadi, said: “During the Christmas and New Year holiday, the world’s eyes turn to the UAE, as the country tops the list of global tourist destinations thanks to its diverse tourist and entertainment destinations as well as its huge shopping and entertainment centres.
“So, this year we are keen to launch an exceptional edition of the Sharjah Shopping Promotions campaign that goes in line with the aforesaid and enhances Sharjah’s position as a preferred destination for citizens, residents and visitors from all over the world by offering a wide range of exclusive offers and attractive entertainment events”.
The campaign organising committee has designed a website and a smart application with a database of shoppers that will guide the retailers in settling the scope of their marketing campaigns.
SCCI’s assistant general manager for the communication and business sector, Abdulaziz Shattaf, said that Sharjah Shopping Promotions is one of the key events and festivals of the retail sector in Sharjah. He added that the campaign presents a golden opportunity for the malls, shops and hotels to advertise promotions with prizes that can lure shoppers and visitors to the emirate.
