Apparel Group opens ‘Apparel Digital Learning Academy’ for employees

Dubai-based retail conglomerate Apparel Group has launched a global portal called the ‘Apparel Digital Learning Academy’ to offer online bilingual courses to employees—in English and Arabic— across the GCC region.

The courses will kick off on November 15.

The Apparel Digital Learning Academy will focus on specialised courses for sales personnel on selling techniques and customer service skills. 

 CEO of Apparel Group, Neeraj Teckchandani, said: “We’re excited to be at the forefront of providing integrated learning services with Apparel Digital Learning Academy.

These courses aim to chisel employee skill sets, boost workers’ motivation levels and allow them to gain a competitive edge in the fast-paced retail ecosystem. Employing microlearning with visual aids these learning courses will seek to provide employees with essential daily tips and tricks on the job. The bilingual courses will help employees access courses in their preferred language.

 Today, Apparel Group caters to thousands of shoppers through its 2,010 retail stores and 78 brands on all platforms, employing more than 18,500 workers.

Recently Apparel Group, through its e-commerce fashion platform 6thStreet.com, has become one of the first in the GCC to enter the metaverse after launching its first ‘phygital’ store at Dubai Hills Mall.
