Apparel Group opens NEW YORKER in Dubai Hills Mall

The Apparel Group, Dubai-based retail franchise operator in the Middle East, opened a NEW YORKER store in Dubai Hills Mall on June 29.

The store, which spans more than 900 square metres, is NEW YORKER’s ninth in the Middle East and fourth in the emirate.

The German fashion label offers customers modern fashion items across numerous categories, such as jeans, sportswear, streetwear, accessories, underwear and swimwear.

The store houses NEW YORKER’s own brands, including FSBN, FB SISTER, SMOG, AMISU and CENSORED.

The opening was attended by radio host Kris Fade, DJ Jenn Getz & Alfie and other influencers.

Also launched last month was the brand’s summer collection.

Shoppers can find flowy and statement blouses, wide-legged pants and matching sets with floral prints, sherbet colours, ruffles, lace, pleats, satin and colourful accessories.

The store opening comes amid the silver jubilee of Dubai Summer Surprises, which sees over 5,000 stores across the emirate offer discounts between 25 and 75 per cent.

Until July 10, the Apparel Group is covering value-added tax on purchases across its retail outlets and its e-commerce site, 6thstreet.com.

The group is offering points to members of Club Apparel, its loyalty programme, in celebration of the shopping event.

Twenty-four lucky shoppers will win 1,250 points, worth AED1,250, and seven will win 10,000 points, worth AED10,000.

The Apparel Group has franchised over 75 brands, including Tommy Hilfiger, Charles & Keith, Skechers, Aldo, Nine West, Aeropostale, Jamie’s Italian, Tim Hortons, Cold Stone Creamery, Inglot and Rituals, and operates more than 1,900 retail stores across the Middle East.
