Hermes has become the latest luxury fashion brand to open at Qatar Duty Free at Hamad International Airport.
The two-storey boutique, located at the South Node Plaza, features high-end apparel, accessories, shoes and fragrances.
Last month, Qatar Duty Free was named the official retail store for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, which entails an exclusive right to sell all World Cup merchandise in fan zones and at all eight stadiums.
Qatar Duty Free vice president, Thabet Musleh, said: “The excitement is building day by day and Qatar Duty Free is thrilled to have been selected as the Official Retail Store for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. This enables international fans to pick up their tournament souvenirs once they arrive in the country, allowing fans to enjoy the World Cup at its fullest.”
Fans can acquire tournament memorabilia and collectables upon landing at Hamad International Airport.
In August, Qatar Duty Free unveiled its new sumptuous ‘world of beauty’ zone, to amplify its lines of renowned beauty brands.
In the same month, Louis Vuitton became the latest addition to Qatar Duty Free’s luxury portfolio.
In May, the Burberry Boutique opened at the airport, joining Bulgari, Fendi, Hermès, Loro Piana, Tiffany & Co and Valentino, among others.
Qatar Duty Free boasts more than 90 luxury and lifestyle retail outlets at Hamad International Airport.
