Anker Innovations, a global producer of mobile chargers, consumer electronics and smart home devices, has launched its first flagship store at Dubai’s City Centre Mirdif, marking its seventh store in the region.
The store, operated by Seventh Dimension, will exhibit Anker’s latest innovative products, powered by artificial intelligence.
“We are excited to announce the launch of our first flagship store in the UAE to cater to the country’s diverse and tech-savvy customers,” said general manager at Anker Innovations for the Middle East and South Asia, Faraz Mehdi.
“In the past two years, we have seen an increased demand for home vacuum cleaners, robotic cleaners, and more. We see much exploration in the spaces and strong adoption among the residents. In addition, the ongoing trend of an increase in the number of nuclear families is creating a positive outlook on the market.
“Our charging and home solutions address the needs of the modern nuclear family, whilst ensuring that all expectations for maintaining a home are met and exceeded.”
Chairman at Seventh Dimension Company, Abdullah Al-Lafi, said: “The response we have received from the GCC region as it relates to Anker Innovations has been overwhelmingly positive.”
The company also announced plans to expand into other GCC markets in the next few years.
The Middle East smart home market is set to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 24 per cent between 2021 and 2026, according to a report by MarkNtel Advisors market research.
The trend is spurred by heightened concerns over home security and growing customer awareness about numerous advantages rendered by the devices, ranging from remote monitoring to customisation.
“The UAE market has always been future-driven as customers are constantly seeking innovative products and solutions to make their lives easier and more convenient,” said Mr Al-Lafi.
