Dubai Outlet Mall extension to open in Q4

In efforts to support the UAE’s retail economy, Dubai Outlet Mall is set to unveil its extension project in the final quarter of this year.

With the extension, Dubai Outlet Mall will cover more than 3.8 million square feet and is set to become the largest outlet mall in the world.

Aigner and New Balance are prominent new tenants, alongside Rivoli Group, Gallery One, Mumuso, Zippy Kids, OVS Kids, Simple Kitchen, Dwell, Supercare, Optivision, Optics For Less, Sensoline, Via Milano, Ricci Ceremony, Lenskart, Notino Gallery, Intimate collection, Mario Barutti, Tiyabi Taif Al Emarat, Selz and Duozoulo.

While the leasing phase is nearing its end, more brands will be added in the coming months, said the mall.

The extension will also see the addition of a megamarket, community space, cinema and other entertainment concepts.

Fine dining restaurants and an indoor farmers’ market will also be available.

In addition, the mall will introduce an omnichannel avenue to benefit both retail tenants and shoppers.

“We are excited to see our list of partnering brands grow with us as we welcome New Balance and Aigner and all of the new brands that have joined the Dubai Outlet Mall family,” said Mohammed Naser Khammas, CEO of Al Ahli Holding Group, the mall’s conglomerate developer.

“As we realise the vision of reimagining the world of shopping and retail, I’ll be very excited to announce in due course all of the brands that have signed up for the expansion.”

Opened in 2007, Dubai Outlet Mall houses 240 stores with over 1,300 brands, ranging from high-end luxury fashion to streetwear.

Located strategically at the intersections of Mohammed Bin Zayed, Dubai Bypass and Al Ain Roads, the shopping centre aims to cater to visitors from all seven emirates of the country.
