To mark a 10-year milestone, retailers at The Galleria Al Maryah Island have hosted ‘A Decade of Luxury’ event in Abu Dhabi.
Retailers such as Hermès, Chanel, Bottega Veneta, Cartier, Elie Saab, Fendi, Versace and Louis Vuitton attended the soiree to showcase their limited-edition collections and allow guests to purchase luxury items.
The Galleria Al Maryah Island is home to 400 stores of international and regional brands such as Apple, Zara, H&M, Virgin Megastore, Toys ‘R’ Us and Debenhams.
The destination also features luxury fashion and high-end jewellery including Hermès, Chanel, Cartier, Dior, Louis Vuitton, Rolex and Van Cleef & Arpels.
According to BoF report, while the global fashion industry is struggling across other regions, the outlook for the Middle East remains auspicious.
The region’s $89 billion fashion industry is forecast to grow at an unprecedented compound annual growth rate of seven per cent over the next five years.
