SML Group brings label and RFID business solutions to Middle East

SML Group has launched its RFID and branding solutions in Dubai.

The Middle East expansion is part of the company’s plan to develop its business operations globally and help brand owners and retailers to propel their brands’ growth.

CEO of SML Group, Ignatius K.C. Lau, said: “This is a hugely exciting time for SML as we solidify our presence in the Middle East with a new Dubai location.

“We are confident that this new venture will contribute significantly to SML’ s growth and success in the region.”

RFID technology marketing strategies include improving social flow, reinventing experiences, and better visual branding or sponsor representation.

Since its inception in 1985, SML has delivered 150 million RFID tags and deployed Clarity in more than 100 stores across the Middle East.

Dubai boasts a rapidly developing apparel and retail market, expected to reach $3.2 billion by 2027. 

“Our new Dubai location is the natural step for us following the accomplishments we have already achieved in the region. We are here to serve our customers and are optimistic about the value and impact we can bring for them moving forward,” added Mr Lau.

The company is presen in more than 20 countries across the world, with headquarters in Hong Kong SAR, China.
