LuLu launches on Hungerstation platform

LuLu Hypermarket’s items have now become available on food delivery company Hungerstation following a signing ceremony involving executives of both companies.

LuLu Hypermarket’s director, Shehim Mohammed, said: “This partnership with Hungerstation opens yet another access to our retail presence in Saudi Arabia, while also strengthening our omnichannel approach for e-commerce, which currently includes online delivery, express delivery and WhatsApp delivery.

“With online shopping being the future of the retail business, we are keen to build on Hungerstation’s reputation for a strong last-mile delivery network and take LuLu to customers’ homes effectively.”

Shoppers in the Kingdom, where the retail giant has 32 stores, can now order their groceries and home items through Hungerstation and have them home delivered.

The initiative comes as part of the recent set of customer services introduced by LuLu to make shopping more convenient.

Founded in March 2012 in Dammam as one of the first online food ordering portals in Saudi Arabia.

Today, the platform operates in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.
