Qatar Duty Free to soon open TimeVallée and Watchfinder & Co boutiques

With the Fifa World Cup 2022 in full swing, Qatar Duty Free is preparing to enrich its portfolio with new additions following its successful expansion, inaugurated this month.

The world’s first TimeVallée airport store will open soon in a strategic position overlooking The Orchard – the indoor tropical garden that anchors the new expansion.

Richemont-owned TimeVallée is a luxury, multi-brand destination store offering clients access to some of the world’s most prestigious watch brands.

Its portfolio includes watchmaking and jewellery brands like A. Lange & Söhne, Baume & Mercier, Buccellati, Bvlgari, Carl. F. Bucherer, Cartier, Chanel, Chaumet, Chopard, Corum, Franck Muller, Girard Perregaux, Glashütte, Gucci, Hermès and Hublot.

Furthermore, Qatar Duty Free will open the first Watchfinder & Co. store at Hamad International Airport. Acquired by Richemont in 2018, Watchfinder specialises in buying and selling premium pre-owned watches. It features more than 50 brands, including Rolex, Omega, and Cartier.

In 2018, prompted by a tremendous growth of pre-owned watches worldwide Richemont acquired Watchfinder & Co.

Additionally, the Giorgio Armani store featuring the entire Giorgio Armani range will complement the expansion.

Qatar Duty Free pointed out that Hamad International Airport now ranks as the only airport in the world with two Louis Vuitton stores in the same terminal.

In August, Louis Vuitton opened its first Hamad International Airport boutique in a prime South Plaza location. The second store was unveiled at the November inauguration of the Expansion zone.

Earlier this month, Qatar Duty Free has been recognised as the ‘World’s Leading Airport Duty Free Operator 2022’ in the World Travel Awards.
