Beglarian Fabrics marketplace lands in Mena region

Al Fardan Ventures, part of Doha-based Al Fardan Group, is bringing the Beglarian Fabrics marketplace into the Mena region.

Starting today, Beglarian Fabrics’ top-quality textiles, manufactured in Italy and France, will be available to all Mena customers.

Founder of Beglarian Fabrics, Karen Beglarian, said: “We value our customers from the Middle East, our products are very appreciated by them and as a response to all their demand to provide a better service to the region, we are proud today to announce our partnership with Al Fardan Ventures to offer all of you with the best possible service and fastest delivery.”

Established in 2017, Beglarian Fabrics sells French upcycled haute couture deadstock fabrics online, implementing an advanced sustainable business model. It has access to all textile factories across France.

“Starting today, all customers in the Mena region can access the Middle East subdomain at the marketplace, view our regularly updated stocks from top manufacturers of Europe, and we ship by express service the next day,” said CEO of Al Fardan Ventures, Mohammed E. Al Fardan.

Family-owned conglomerate Al Fardan was established in 1954 as a jewellery business, later evolving into one of the largest groups in the region, specialising in luxury items, financial services and real estate.

As a major trading hub for textiles, the Middle East is experiencing a booming demand for fabrics. Chairman of International Expo Consults, Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, said: “They [Mena consumers] are looking at modern retail environments, state-of-the-art designs and high-quality fabrics. The textile industry is expanding due to the kingdom’s growing population and consumers’ increasing purchasing power. This makes Saudi Arabia one of the most promising and sought-after growth markets”.
