Jewellery house Messika has celebrated 10 years in the UAE by putting on a dazzling display in the heart of Downtown Dubai that lit up the Burj Khalifa.
Honouring Messika’s 10-year anniversary in the UAE, and the opening of the maison’s flagship boutique in The Dubai Mall, founder Valerie Messika illuminated the world’s tallest building with an alluring and magnetic video featuring Kendall Jenner, the face of Messika’s 2022 campaign.
The monumental occasion paid tribute to Downtown Dubai by Emaar, the iconic neighbourhood where the Maison was first introduced to the UAE 10 years ago.
Ms Messika pushed the activation button for the exclusive illumination in the presence of Ahmed Seddiqui & Sons, the brand’s long-term local partner, to usher in an exciting new decade for the brand in the UAE.
New flagship boutique
Messika’s new flagship store is located within the Grand Atrium of The Dubai Mall in Downtown Dubai.
The spacious 70-square-metre boutique radiates effortless modernity and creativity with a minimalist aesthetic accentuated by majestic high ceilings and curved graphic lines. The combination of white marble and alabaster, highlights of yellow gold metal detailing alongside bevelled mirrors, all channel Messika’s inherent penchant for breaking free from traditional jewelry codes to rewrite the essence of timeless luxury, with uncompromising savoir-faire.
The boutique’s grand room plays host to the Maison’s signature collections, extending an invitation for visitors to step into Messika’s transgenerational fashion and rock universe.
Unique to the new boutique is the dedicated bridal and high jewelry room, which immerses clients into the visionary mastery of Messika’s Parisian atelier through a focus on the maison’s high jewelry creations.
A private VIP room completes the immersive experience, heightened by an exclusive in-house bar offering delicate refreshments and desserts.
The opening of this boutique marks the arrival of Messika’s third boutique in Dubai, fourth in the UAE and 14th in the Middle East region.
