In celebration of Dubai Summer Surprises’ silver jubilee, Majid Al Futtaim’s 25-hour sale, replacing the traditional 12-hour sale, begins today.
Shoppers can find discounts at a number of retailers in Mall of the Emirates, City Centre Mirdif, City Centre Deira, City Centre Me’aisem and City Centre Al Shindagha.
The sale runs until 10pm today and from 10am to 11pm tomorrow.
The operator’s SHARE Millionaire campaign also begins today.
For nine weeks, shoppers enrolled in the Majid Al Futtaim’s SHARE loyalty programme who spend at least AED300 at participating malls are eligible to win one million points, equivalent to AED100,000.
Each week, one winner will be selected.
Shoppers can enter the campaign by scanning and uploading receipts on the SHARE mobile applications.
On weekends, between July 16 and August 7, customers at participating shopping centres will receive 25 times the number of SHARE points on purchases.
Points are redeemable at any Majid Al Futtaim-operated retail outlets across the city.
In August, Mall of the Emirates and City Centre Mirdif will host a LEGO road show, with visitors able to enjoy interactive concepts, such as engaging workshops, a family-friendly movie area, a Duplo range play zone and a mosaic minifigure factory.
City Centre Deira’s Closer Than Ever campaign gives shoppers the opportunity to send e-postcards to loved ones internationally using an interactive screen.

During the final weekend of Dubai Summer Surprises, from September 2 to September 4, Majid Al Futtaim retailers will offer discounts of up to 90 per cent again.
More than 5,000 stores are participating in Dubai Summer Surprises this year, offering shoppers discounts of between 25 and 75 per cent.
