REDTAG, value fashion and homeware brand, concluded #35daysofRamadanKareem campaign, which ran across the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman and Qatar, on May 12.  

The campaign saw a mega-money raffle draw run for five weeks, with customers who shopped multiple times eligible to enroll after each purchase. 

In each country, five shoppers were selected each week of the event, each winning AED5,000 in the UAE, BHD500 in Bahrain, KWD400 in Kuwait, OMR500 in Oman and QAR5,000 in Qatar.  

“There is immense satisfaction among everyone in the REDTAG family after this year’s Ramadan bonanza,” said Shehbaz Shaikh, chief retail officer at REDTAG.   

“Gratitude – which is the hallmark of the holy festival – found its true meaing in the giveaways. 

“We wanted to show our appreciation for customers’ patronage, and we sincerely hope we have brought a smile on their faces this Ramadan.” 

In keeping with the giving spirit of Ramadan, shoppers were given a free gift for purchases above AED250 in the UAE, BHD25 in Bahrain, KWD20 in Kuwait, OMR25 in Oman and QAR250 in Qatar.  

“Our objective, with the annual Ramadan bonanzas or other such campaigns, is to give back to our customers in reciprocity for their continued patronage,” added Mr Shaikh.  

Also made available during the Holy Month were REDTAG’s Ramadan fashion collection inspired by Lebanese singer Myriam Fares and homeware collection featuring embellishments to convey luxury.  

Of the brand’s Ramadan-themed products, Mohammed Khalid, head of buying – non-apparel at REDTAG, said: “This year, REDTAG has emphasised subtleties, the little things and details that have a profound impact. 

“Our selection of decorative knick-knacks as well as scented candles and incense sticks embody the Ramadan spirit. The homeware collection will definitely make the evening gathering of friends and family all the more special and joyous.”
