This year’s Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) will run from Friday, July 1, to Sunday, September 4.
A highlight of the UAE’s retail calendar, the 10-week event sees huge discounts at malls, hotels, restaurants and entertainment centres.
Back for its 25th season, DSS also offers shoppers the chance to win cars, luxury items and cash rewards.
Last year, the Mercedes Mega Raffle was a competition highlight. An all-new 2021 Mercedes C200 and AED25,000 in cash were up for grabs, along with six Infinity Q50s each week.
Last year’s event saw an increase in sales and footfall, boosted by the 12 Hour Sale, DSS Flash Sale and DSS Final Sale, where discounts of 90 per cent were offered.
Nahkeel and Al Futtaim Malls reported higher visitor numbers, with Mercato Mall and Town Centre Jumeirah recording a 50 per cent increase.
The announcement of this year’s DSS dates closely follows the 27th annual Dubai Shopping Festival, which ended on January 30.
