Emirates Delivers launches in Kuwait

The e-commerce delivery platform of Emirates SkyCargo, Emirates Delivers, has launched its services in Kuwait, facilitating international delivery of items purchased from the UK and the US to the country’s shoppers.

Divisional senior vice president of Emirates SkyCargo, Nabil Sultan, said: “Building on the success that Emirates Delivers has established in the UAE, we are excited to achieve the next step in our broader e-commerce strategy by expanding to Kuwait.

“While the global e-commerce market continues to flourish, recent years have shown a clear uptick in markets which were not previously offered the same access and options, such as Kuwait and the wider Middle East. Now, more customers are searching for a reliable and trusted partner, not just to make the initial purchase from, but to handle the transportation of purchases.”

Emirates Delivers provides a door-to-door transport solution to bring customers e-commerce purchases in three to five working days.

Emirates Delivers was first launched in 2019, bringing the best of US shopping to the UAE, before adding the UK to the service in 2022.

According to Statista, revenue in Kuwait’s e-commerce market is projected to reach $1,494.00 million in 2023, growing a compound annual growth rate of 8.62 per cent and resulting in a projected market volume of $2,080.00 million by 2027.
