Noon announces Ramadan sale in Egypt

UAE e-commerce platform Noon announced the Big Ramadan Sale in Egypt on Monday.

The sale will continue until midnight on April 4.

Consumers can expect discounts of up to 75 per cent, apart from bank offers and split payment solutions.

Noon has collaborated with valU to offer buy-now-pay-later options for its customers.

It has also partnered with banks such as NBE, CIB and Emirates NBD, which offer up to 12 months of interest-free instalments.

The company is offering exclusive discounts on brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi and Infinix, and can save up to 55 per cent on smartphones bought from these brands.

There will be discounts of up to 70 per cent on electronics bought from Samsung, Black & Decker, LG, Fresh and Toshiba.

Noon is running a similar promotion in the UAE as well.

It announced up to 70 per cent discounts on several items, and its UAE campaign will run from March 27 until April 4. Shoppers can save up to 60 per cent when stocking up on Ramadan essentials from top brands like Vimto, Rooh Afza, Knorr, and many more.

Items from online shopping portal Namshi are also expected to take centre stage after Noon bought the company last month.

The acquisition of Namshi will expand Noon’s digital ecosystem of products and services to include more fashion and lifestyle offerings for the region’s consumers. Noon will continue to support Namshi’s growth as an independent entity within the company.

CTO of the Noon Group and co-founder of Namshi, Hisham Zarka, said: “Namshi is an early pioneer of e-commerce in the region, having launched twelve years ago when regional e-commerce was in its infancy.

“Thanks to continued growth under Emaar over the past five years, it has cemented its position as a leading regional e-commerce platform. We’re very excited to support Namshi’s next phase of success by welcoming them into the Noon ecosystem.”
