Alshaya Group introduces new loyalty programme Aura to Saudi Arabia

Kuwait-based multinational retail franchise operator Alshaya Group has launched its new customer loyalty programme Aura in Saudi Arabia.

With this scheme, customers can redeem points and unlock benefits across more than 70 brands, with points earned both in-store and online.

CEO of Alshaya Group, John Hadden, said: “We’re proud and extremely excited to bring our new, world-class loyalty program to our customers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, one of our largest markets.

“Aura is an exciting new way for customers the widest choice of brands and experiences to suit their different preferences. Celebrating our customers’ individuality, and rewarding them, is what Aura is all about. By bringing together all of Alshaya’s well-loved international brands into one program, we can unlock a personalised world of rewards, experiences, and benefits that is unmatched.”

The launch in the country comes on the heels of its previous successful launch in Qatar, Kuwait and the UAE earlier this year, with the number of members already exceeding 1.5 million.

Everyone aged 18 or above is eligible for free Aura membership. Members can use the Aura MENA app to track their benefits and access their rewards.

For every SAR 10 spent, 10 points are earned on spend across all Alshaya stores.

The membership comes in three tiers Aura Hello, Aura Star and Aura VIP.

The Alshaya Group has operations across the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and Europe, recently expanding its retail footprint by bringing 22 stores, including Jo Malone, Claire’s and MAC, to Dubai Hills Mall.
