Cafe and gourmet store Jones the Grocer has opened its 28th store in Dubai.
Jones the Grocer Express, a gourmet grab-and-go concept, is now open in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Media City, Dubai.
Established in 1996 in Australia, Jones the Grocer has 28 stores across the Middle East – in the UAE, Qatar, and Egypt – as well as India.
More stores are set to open in the UK and Saudi Arabia.
Free Wi-Fi, accessible parking, and plug points are also provided, so tech heads can charge their devices and work while they refuel.
Speaking to Caterer Middle East earlier in the year, Yunib Siddiqui, CEO and owner of Jones the Grocer, said: “It certainly feels like Jones is now an ‘institution’, with a name recall synonymous with the best in class.
“All our regional growth has been by word of mouth. In a country that is constantly reinventing itself, where there are so many food concepts, we now feel solidly anchored.
“I think the future of the premium-casual F&B segment is going to be all about smart, integrated, intelligent brands that aren’t just about cooking good food – they need to be much more. I think we’re very well placed for the next 25 years.”
