Deliveroo and UAE-based grocery retailer Choitrams have partnered to launch a delivery-only grocery store, Deliveroo Hop.
Deliveroo Hop offers customers Choitrams’ fresh and shelf-stable food of high quality and personal care, home care and pet care products.
“Residents across the UAE continue to look for increased convenience in their daily lives, and Deliveroo Hop with Choitrams aims to enhance the value proposition of our customer experience with on-demand grocery shopping,” said Anis Harb, general manager of Deliveroo’s Middle East operations.
“We are excited to be partnering with Choitrams for this launch to provide a seamless and convenient online grocery shopping experience.
Currently, the store delivers to customers in Motor City, Sports City, Barsha South, Jumeirah Village Circle, Jumeirah Village Triangle and Arabian Ranches.
“We continue to build on our passion for food and Deliveroo Hop reinforces the same commitment, enabling us to become the definitive food company,” Mr Harb added.
“We are thrilled to launch our first location in Dubai and are excited to expand our reach to further locations in the UAE.”
The delivery service and grocery retailer promise near 100 per cent stock availability and quick deliveries in as little as 15 minutes, thanks to advanced grocery management technology, optimised supply chains, efficient logistics algorithms and extensive network of delivery drivers in the emirate.

On May 25, the delivery service launched Deliveroo Plus Silver, a subscription plan for customers who purchase more items more frequently.
For AED19 each month, shoppers can get unlimited free delivery of orders over AED80.
In January, Deliveroo Plus Gold was launched. Users who subscribe for AED39 per month receive free delivery on orders worth more than AED30.
