Doha Festival City hosts Homeware Festival

Qatar’s Doha Festival City will host its annual homeware festival to display the latest collections from the mall’s various furniture and homeware brands.

Running from May 12 to June 8, the festival will feature products from 37 brands, including That’s Living Kids, That’s Living, IKEA, ACE, West Elm, Maya Paris, Home Centre, BHS, Tansy Mattress, Butterfly Design, The One, Pottery Barn, Pottery Barn Kids, H&M, English Home, Villeroy & Bach, Karaca and Roomurs.

The festival will offer shoppers a virtual reality activity, where they can enter retailers’ designs of an interactive house, comprising a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom spanning four square metres.

“We are thrilled to host this year’s Homeware Festival and showcase the latest collections from our flagship homeware and furnishing retailers joining us from across the globe,” said Robert Hall, general manager of Doha Festival City.

“Festival City strives to share with the community the latest trends and developments in various segments of the retail market, and to offer our shoppers a wide spectrum of home customisation and interior decoration options to truly craft their personal space.

“We would like to invite all our visitors to explore the Virtual Reality experience as we strive to offer them the most engaging experiences and memorable moments at every visit,” Mr Hall added.

The festival comes after Doha Festival City celebrated its five-year anniversary last month.

In keeping with the mall’s commitment to digital transformation, a digital mosaic wall marked the anniversary, with shoppers invited to view and interact with the wall.

Mr Hall said, “This mosaic is a token of our appreciation to the community for always being paramount to our growth and success.

“Doha Festival City will continue to enhance its offerings with the trust and support of our loyal customers, retailers and partners”
