\nSwedish retailer IKEA, operated in the Middle East by conglomerate Al-Futtaim Group<\/a>, has dropped prices<\/a> on more than 30 per cent of its products.<\/span><\/p>\n

The reductions come amid the retailer’s efforts to attract more customers as inflation heats up.<\/span><\/p>\n

These cuts apply to various categories available across the UAE, Oman and Qatar.<\/span><\/p>\n

Managing director of Al-Futtaim IKEA UAE, Egypt, Qatar and Oman, Vinod Jayan, said: “Al-Futtaim IKEA has always been committed to enhancing lives at home. Given the prevailing economic circumstances, we remain firm in our mission and are intensifying our efforts to ensure that we contribute to creating a better everyday life for many people at affordable prices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“To support our vision, we have dropped the prices of over 2500 products across the UAE, Qatar and Oman maintaining our commitment to affordability and quality. As a family-owned business, we recognise our significant role in ensuring that more people can access the products and services they require. We aim to offer a seamless IKEA experience, making our products available to customers at affordable prices.\u2019\u2019<\/span><\/p>\n

In February,\u00a0<\/span>Al-Futtaim IKEA<\/span>\u00a0teamed up with Swedish agency INGO to launch a print campaign to highlight its commitment to maintaining current prices in the face of inflation.<\/span><\/p>\n
