{"id":24249,"date":"2023-09-27T14:35:05","date_gmt":"2023-09-27T14:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=24249"},"modified":"2023-09-27T14:35:05","modified_gmt":"2023-09-27T14:35:05","slug":"studio-renn-middle-east","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/09\/27\/studio-renn-middle-east\/","title":{"rendered":"Studio Renn enters Middle East with Sotheby&#8217;s Dubai showcase"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mumbai-based fine <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/04\/07\/uae-gold-prices-2023\/\">jewellery<\/a> brand <a href=\"https:\/\/studiorenn.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Studio Renn<\/a> will enter the Middle East market this October by participating in auction house Sotheby\u2019s upcoming &#8216;Modern &amp; Contemporary Jewelry Series&#8217;.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The showcase will run from October 2 to 27 in Dubai, both on-site and online.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Studio Renn will present 50 designs from its \u2018[Prime]al\u2019 collection including rings, bracelets and earrings at the Sotheby\u2019s Dubai gallery, located in the Dubai International Financial Centre.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Studio Renn\u2019s co-founder and creative director, Rahul Jhaveri, said: \u201c[Prime]al is an ambitious effort at the studio to create a distinctive contemporary aesthetic\u2013 one that is our own.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The Gem and Jewellery Export Promotion Council reported on its website. \u201cIt started with a study of indigenous art\u2013 not what they made, but why and how.
