{"id":24185,"date":"2023-09-20T14:25:02","date_gmt":"2023-09-20T14:25:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=24185"},"modified":"2023-09-20T14:25:02","modified_gmt":"2023-09-20T14:25:02","slug":"riyadh-fashion-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/09\/20\/riyadh-fashion-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Riyadh Fashion Week to feature 30 Saudi brands"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\nThirty Saudi Arabia&#8217;s brands are poised to take part in the inaugural &#8216;Riyadh <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/06\/27\/saudi-fashion-sales\/\">Fashion<\/a> Week&#8217;, scheduled for October 20-23.<\/p>\n<p>The participating brands include Dazluq, Kaf by Kaf, Not Boring and Uscita.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Hosted by the <a href=\"https:\/\/fashion.moc.gov.sa\/en\/initiatives\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Saudi Fashion Commission<\/a>, the event features a showroom promoting local brands that will give local and international buyers deeper insights into Saudi designers\u2019 works and established brands with a wide range of styles.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The event will gather a global fashion community, including celebrities, VIPs, buyers and key industry stakeholders to explore Saudi\u2019s rapidly emerging fashion market.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CEO of the Saudi Fashion Commission, Burak \u00c7akmak, said: \u201cFor the first time, we are welcoming the global fashion community to the epicentre of Saudi fashion, here in Riyadh.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;The event will showcase the best of our creative talent, allowing yet another opportunity for our brands to connect with the world. Whether you join us in person or via the live stream, we can\u2019t wait to highlight what Saudi fashion has to offer.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This fashion show is organised to support the development of the fashion industry at both domestic and international levels.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The idea of Riyadh Fashion Week&#8217;s originated in June when the Saudi Fashion Commission participated in prestigious fashion events like Paris Men&#8217;s Fashion Week and Couture Week.
