\nDubai\u2019s Emirates Flight Catering<\/a> and UAE-based retailer company GMG have teamed up to offer a range of on-the-go meals across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative is in keeping with the UAE\u2019s vision to promote healthy eating and encourage customers to make better food choices.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

This also marks the first Emirates Flight Catering collaboration with a retail giant to provide on-the-go meals.<\/span><\/p>\n

Deputy chairman and CEO of GMG<\/a>, Mohammad A. Baker, said: \u201cThe country\u2019s diverse population, comprising both locals and expatriates from various countries, has led to a rich culinary landscape.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Driven by our customer-centric approach, we have worked with our partner Emirates Flight Catering to create a custom-made food range to fulfil and exceed customer expectations on ready, freshly prepared meals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThe partnership is the first step in Everyday Goods \u2013 retail\u2019s commitment to innovate and develop food products that elevate the customer experience. This is only the beginning \u2013with our partner, we plan to extend the range across stores and develop new categories tailored to our customer\u2019s needs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Some ingredients will be sourced from Bustanica, the world\u2019s largest hydroponic farm, established by Emirates Flight Catering and Crop One Holdings Inc.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhile convenience is a key driver, there is also a growing demand for healthier, more nutritious ready-to-go meal options,” added Mr Baker.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Consumers are increasingly seeking meals that align with their dietary preferences. Ready-to-go meals in the UAE reflect this diversity, offering a wide range of international cuisine options to cater to different tastes and preferences. We at GMG would like to add value to this sector through this partnership.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Emirates Flight Catering will support GMG\u2019s Everyday Group on ground store teams, training food preparation and customer service.<\/span><\/p>\n
