{"id":23333,"date":"2023-06-20T14:33:18","date_gmt":"2023-06-20T14:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=23333"},"modified":"2023-06-20T14:41:19","modified_gmt":"2023-06-20T14:41:19","slug":"pangaia-store","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/06\/20\/pangaia-store\/","title":{"rendered":"PANGAIA opens store at Dubai International Airport\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Sustainable fashion brand <a href=\"https:\/\/eu.pangaia.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PANGAIA<\/a> has entered the travel retail business by launching a store at Dubai International Airport.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The company&#8217;s foray into the travel retail market follows its collaboration with Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail and Dubai Airports.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">PANGAIA&#8217;s founder, Mira Duma, said: \u201cWith the incredible support of our partners, we were able to create an experience connecting the travelling audience back to nature, offering them a glimpse into the movement we are creating and having them join us on the journey towards more responsible production and consumption.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The store offers a collection of plant-based activewear and powered-by-nature products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">For Lagard\u00e8re <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/05\/08\/dubai-duty-freegets-award\/\">Travel Retail<\/a>, the partnership expands its operations in Dubai International Airport from F&amp;B outlets to retail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Founded by Russian entrepreneur Miroslava Vasilyevna Duma in 2018, and supported by investor Carmen Busquets, the co-founder of Net-a-Porter, the retailer is a company at the intersection of fashion, nature and science.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CEO of Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail Middle East, Vadim Motlik, said: \u201cThis new business venture is a testament to Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail\u2019s commitment to providing innovative and unique experiences to passengers, alongside the strong sustainability focus our business has for the years to come.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Lagard\u00e8re Travel Retail operates over 5,000 stores in airports, railway stations and other concessions in 42 countries.
