{"id":22372,"date":"2023-03-22T15:23:29","date_gmt":"2023-03-22T15:23:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=22372"},"modified":"2023-03-22T15:26:00","modified_gmt":"2023-03-22T15:26:00","slug":"paymob-joins-ikea-egypt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/03\/22\/paymob-joins-ikea-egypt\/","title":{"rendered":"Paymob partners with IKEA Egypt to transform checkout processes"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ikea.com\/eg\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IKEA Egypt,<\/a> operated by Majid Al Futtaim, has entered a partnership with financial services enabler Paymob to improve its checkout process.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Founded in Egypt in 2015, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/03\/14\/paymob-joins-mena-fintech-association\/\">Paymob<\/a> offers a comprehensive number of payment acceptance methods in the Mena region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Paymob\u2019s CCO, Gillan Shaaban, said: \u201cAs a trusted financial services partner, we are proud that IKEA chose Paymob to power their new payment options in Egypt.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;By addressing the unique needs and preferences of Egyptian consumers, IKEA is positioning itself as a retailer that truly understands and caters to their customers\u2019 needs.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The partnership entails introducing new innovative payment methods such as digital wallets, easy payment plans and consumer finance options, in addition to traditional bank cards.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The trusted infrastructure powered by Paymob\u2019s security system is hoped to make IKEA\u2019s products more accessible to a greater number of consumers across Egypt.
