{"id":22043,"date":"2023-03-13T15:01:30","date_gmt":"2023-03-13T15:01:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=22043"},"modified":"2023-03-13T20:41:46","modified_gmt":"2023-03-13T20:41:46","slug":"apparel-group-forest-essentials","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/03\/13\/apparel-group-forest-essentials\/","title":{"rendered":"Apparel Group to launch 25 Forest Essentials stores in GCC within five years"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">UAE-based retail conglomerate\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/02\/16\/apparel-group-opens-19-stores-in-gcc-and-india\/\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Apparel Group<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0is planning to open 25 stores of Indian luxury ayurvedic brand <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forestessentials.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Forest Essentials<\/a> in the GCC within five years as part of its strategic partnership with the company.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The group will also launch the brand&#8217;s website and marketplaces.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">CEO of Apparel Group, Neeraj Teckchandani, said: \u201cWe are confident that our partnership with Forest Essentials will enhance their presence in the GCC region providing a new level of access to their luxurious ayurvedic products.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;By leveraging our extensive retail network and expertise in the market, we aim to support Forest Essentials in solidifying its commercial status on a global scale.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Next month. Forest Essentials will open its first standalone store in Dubai Hills. The 1,000 square-feet store will feature the brand\u2019s complete range of skincare, haircare and body care products.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0Later on, six more stores will open across the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Forest Essentials is an Indian cosmetics, skincare and perfume company, founded in 2000 by Mira Kulkarni in New Delhi.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Executive director at Forest Essentials, Samrath Bedi, said: \u201cThe beauty industry is integral to the GCC with a diverse range of everyday essentials, luxury goods and personal services.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">&#8220;Such demand and innovation have put the beauty sector at the heart of the GCC economy, while also establishing a cultural footprint. The raised awareness around human rights and climate change has led consumers to be more selective and demanding of business practices by prioritising brands that value transparency and are purpose-led in their messaging and authenticity.
