\nUAE-based Lulu Hypermarket has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) in Dubai to jointly promote millets in the GCC region.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The memorandum was inked in the presence of the ambassador of India to UAE.<\/span><\/p>\n

APEDA<\/a> has entered this collaboration with Lulu Group to further popularise millet products and value-added products around the world during the International Year of Millet 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n

This move is hoped to facilitate promotional activities for millet products and allow the country to display millets and their value-added products, ready-to-eat products in international retail chains sourced from places like FPOs, FPCs, SC, ST, women entrepreneurs, start-ups and new entrepreneurs, providing these products with a platform for publicity in importing countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

For its part, APEDA will assist manufacturers in sending various millet product samples to Lulu Hypermarkets. Lulu Group will make it easier to showcase various millet-based products in its hypermarkets, including ready-to-eat and ready-to-serve millet products.<\/span><\/p>\n
