{"id":20949,"date":"2023-01-30T15:55:29","date_gmt":"2023-01-30T15:55:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=20949"},"modified":"2023-01-30T15:56:02","modified_gmt":"2023-01-30T15:56:02","slug":"gmg-to-open-sun-sand-sport-and-nike-stores-in-egypt","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/01\/30\/gmg-to-open-sun-sand-sport-and-nike-stores-in-egypt\/","title":{"rendered":"GMG to open Sun &#038; Sand Sports and Nike stores in Egypt"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\nIn partnership with Egyptian real estate developer Talaat Moustafa Group, UAE\u2019s homegrown retail conglomerate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2023\/01\/26\/gmg-to-open-100-stores-southeast-asia-by-2025\/\">GMG<\/a> is soon launching <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sssports.com\/country-selector.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sun &amp; Sand Sports<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nike.com\/retail\/directory\/egypt\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Nike<\/a> stores, in Madinaty, Egypt, at the newly opened All Seasons Park and at the newly opened Open Air Mall respectively.<\/p>\n<p>The agreement is hoped to amplify GMG&#8217;s overall retail offering.<\/p>\n<p>Chief business development officer at Talaat Moustafa Group Holding, Omar Hisham Talaat, said that the partnership with GMG comes as part of the Talaat Moustafa Group\u2019s commercial strategy to introduce the choicest international brands to cater to the different needs of the group\u2019s customers across various projects.<\/p>\n<p>GMG entered Egypt&#8217;s dynamic retail markets this month, revealing its ambitious expansion plan to open more than 100 sports retail stores across the country by 2026.<\/p>\n<p>GMG also established a dedicated head office in Cairo to fuel its local business growth.
