Lenskart’s<\/a> $50 million Middle Eastern investment for an intense expansion of its brick-and-mortar footprint in the area.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nLenskart\u2019s CBO for the Middle East, Sudhir Syal, said: <\/span>\u201c<\/span><\/strong>Within our first year of in-country operations, we project that Lenskart will become a market leader in the UAE, with over 15 stores in addition to making rampant strides in the KSA region.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cAs our rampant growth and expansion continue, we will focus on the launch of our merchandise collections created specifically to cater to the local Emirati population.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\nThe new outlet offers free on-site eye tests for customers in need of prescription glasses. In addition, the store incorporates several interactive elements, such as a ‘sun room’ \u2013 a space which is illuminated with artificial sun rays to allow customers to gauge the effectiveness of the models when exposed to natural sunlight.<\/span><\/p>\nLenskart\u2019s other stores in the UAE are located in Dubai Mall, Burjuman, Dalma Mall, Dubai Festival City, Ibn Battuta Mall, Dubai Hills Mall and Bawadi Mall.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nIn July, the brand announced its intentions to open 20 stores in the UAE by March.<\/span><\/p>\n\u201cLenskart is expanding its retail stores exponentially and we will continue to do so in the coming two-three years which will increase our brand\u2019s footprint.
