{"id":18069,"date":"2022-08-11T11:54:17","date_gmt":"2022-08-11T11:54:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=18069"},"modified":"2022-08-10T20:36:46","modified_gmt":"2022-08-10T20:36:46","slug":"first-danube-express-stores-open-in-jeddah-and-makkah","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/08\/11\/first-danube-express-stores-open-in-jeddah-and-makkah\/","title":{"rendered":"First Danube Express stores open in Jeddah and Makkah"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/07\/28\/bindawood-buys-shares-of-influencer-marketing-agency\/\">BinDawood Holding<\/a>, Saudi Arabian grocery retail operator, opened the first express stores of its Danube brand at the Haramain High Speed Railway stations in Jeddah and Makkah yesterday.<\/p>\n<p>The openings come as BinDawood Holding\u2019s expansion plans for this year.<\/p>\n<p>The express <a href=\"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/07\/27\/ksa-retail-market-rebounds-thanks-to-eased-restrictions-and-umrah-pilgrims-says-report\/\">grocery<\/a> stores at Jeddah and Makkah span 600 square metres and 800 square metres, respectively.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are excited to begin the roll-out of this new \u2018Express Store\u2019 model under our Danube brand at railway stations across the country,\u201d said Ahmad A. R.
