{"id":17359,"date":"2022-05-31T14:03:02","date_gmt":"2022-05-31T14:03:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=17359"},"modified":"2022-06-07T15:32:18","modified_gmt":"2022-06-07T15:32:18","slug":"magrabi-to-open-16-and-renovate-25-stores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/05\/31\/magrabi-to-open-16-and-renovate-25-stores\/","title":{"rendered":"MAGRABi to open 16 and renovate 25 stores"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Luxury optical retailer MAGRABi has invested AED84 million to expand its operations across 14 cities in the Middle East, adding to its existing portfolio of 142 retail outlets.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Sixteen stores promoting the retailer\u2019s mainstream brand, Doctor M, are set to open by the end of the year across Egypt, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Doctor M is \u201cagile and responsive to customer demands and market trends\u201d, said the retailer.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">MAGRABi branches have already opened at UAE\u2019s Dubai Hills Mall and Springs Souk, Saudi Arabia\u2019s Jeddah Park Mall and Imam Bukhari Street, Egypt\u2019s Open Air Mall and Qatar\u2019s Place Vend\u00f4me Mall.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Next year, 25 existing stores will see renovations and expansions with new equipment installed in test rooms.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThis investment cements our position as the region\u2019s leading optical retail brand, in both the high-end and mainstream segments,\u201d said Amin Magrabi, CEO of the MAGRABi Group.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe look forward to continuing to reinvent the industry and providing our customers with a a truly unique retail experience.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The investment will also see MAGRABi\u2019s first fully female-staffed store in Riyadh\u2019s Al Hamra Mall.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The venture intends to \u201cpush boundaries, empower employees and positively impact society\u201d.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe\u2019re very proud to announce the opening of the region\u2019s first female-only staffed store,\u201d Mr Magrabi added.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe\u2019re driven by our positions around gender equality and empowering our female talents is a priority.
