{"id":16836,"date":"2022-03-09T16:33:59","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T16:33:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=16836"},"modified":"2022-08-20T18:16:29","modified_gmt":"2022-08-20T18:16:29","slug":"eros-opens-its-14th-store-in-dubai-hills-mall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/03\/09\/eros-opens-its-14th-store-in-dubai-hills-mall\/","title":{"rendered":"EROS opens its 14th store in Dubai Hills Mall\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Electronics retailer EROS has opened its 14th store in Dubai Hills Mall. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The opening is part of the retailer\u2019s billion-dollar strategy to expand operations and support the local retail economy by creating more jobs.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">It will open more stores across the UAE throughout the year, the company said.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Mohammed Badri, head of EROS group, said: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome everyone to our newest retail location that focuses on shopping convenience for a range of premium electronics and digital products.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cAs part of our expansion strategy, we want to offer customers a seamless omnichannel experience and convenience. The new store will help us to engage and interact with our customers better.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The retailer\u2019s expansion plans began last year with stores opening in Nakheel Mall in Dubai and City Centre Al Zahia in Sharjah.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cEROS group has expanded beyond its borders to serve not only customers in the UAE but also on select markets in the Middle East and North Africa region,\u201d Mr Badri told <\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Khaleej Times.<\/span><\/i><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In December, EROS increased its focus on e-commerce. Products from EROS Digital Home, the group\u2019s division offering primarily home appliances, were added to<\/span><i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> www.eros.ae<\/span><\/i><span data-contrast=\"auto\"> to boost sales and improve logistics and product delivery.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cConsumers buying trends in retail and e-commerce business have changed after the Covid-19 pandemic introduced a new lifestyle and work culture in the past two years,\u201d Mr Badri said.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe have aligned our business strategy in line with the market trends to cater to our consumers\u2019 needs.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The strategy was met with increased online orders.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cOnline sales contribute 20 to 25 per cent to our business annually.
