{"id":16804,"date":"2022-03-09T13:50:22","date_gmt":"2022-03-09T13:50:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=16804"},"modified":"2022-06-12T19:43:59","modified_gmt":"2022-06-12T19:43:59","slug":"qatars-btc-partners-with-chinese-childrens-brand","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/03\/09\/qatars-btc-partners-with-chinese-childrens-brand\/","title":{"rendered":"Qatar\u2019s BTC partners with Chinese children\u2019s brand\u00a0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Chinese childrenswear and lifestyle brand Balabala has partnered with Qatar\u2019s Business Trading Company (BTC) to expand its operations into Southeast Asia and the Middle East.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">BTC opened the region&#8217;s first Balabala store in UAE\u2019s Dubai Hills Mall on February 28.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The brand stocks fashion and accessories for children up to 14 years old, focusing on skin-friendly and comfortable materials.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Launched in 2002, Balabala\u2019s mission is to redefine luxury childrenswear and become consumers\u2019 first choice globally, with their slogan \u2018same childhood, different style\u2019.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Nicole Zhou, head of the retailer\u2019s international division, said: \u201cWe are delighted to welcome BTC to our family of partners bringing the Balabala experience to families across the region.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cDubai Hills is an excellent new location to showcase our latest generation store concept.\u201d<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Abdul Aziz Al Rabban, chairman of BTC, believes Dubai is the perfect choice for Balabala\u2019s first Middle East store.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe are truly excited to announce the opening of the store in Dubai.
