{"id":16704,"date":"2022-03-24T07:14:27","date_gmt":"2022-03-24T07:14:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=16704"},"modified":"2022-06-12T19:48:01","modified_gmt":"2022-06-12T19:48:01","slug":"carrefour-uae-announces-six-week-ramadan-promotion-programme","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/03\/24\/carrefour-uae-announces-six-week-ramadan-promotion-programme\/","title":{"rendered":"Ramadan promotion at Carrefour UAE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Carrefour has launched a number of Ramadan promotions in-store and on its e-commerce platforms,<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0from April 2 to May 2. <\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">To accommodate consumer demand during the Holy Month, Carrefour\u2019s supply stock will be increased and discounts of up to 50 per cent will be applied to groceries, homeware, personal care items and electrical appliances.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cOur responsibility as an industry leader is to help protect the purchasing power of our customers and make their lives easier during this busy yet rewarding season,\u201d said Chrisophe Orcet, head of commercial and operations of Carrefour UAE at Majid Al Futtaim\u2019s retail division.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cWe are introducing up to 50 per cent offers on more than 10,000 products and we are stacking enough products to fulfil customers\u2019 demand without impacting prices.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shoppers can also avail bulk deals on items, discounts on Carrefour\u2019s namesake brand products, giveaways from international brands and shopping vouchers.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Each week will see a new promotion.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In addition, those enrolled in Majid Al Futtaim\u2019s loyalty programme who collect SHARE points will have these doubled on purchases during the Holy Month.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In keeping with Ramadan\u2019s giving spirit, Carrefour has implemented its \u2018you donate, we double\u2019 initiative.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shoppers, either in-store or online, can purchase and donate a meal for AED20 to Emirates Red Crescent.
