{"id":16692,"date":"2022-03-01T06:46:34","date_gmt":"2022-03-01T06:46:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/?p=16692"},"modified":"2022-06-12T19:41:04","modified_gmt":"2022-06-12T19:41:04","slug":"alshaya-opens-22-stores-in-dubai-hills-mall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.meretailnews.com\/2022\/03\/01\/alshaya-opens-22-stores-in-dubai-hills-mall\/","title":{"rendered":"Apple opens store on Al Maryah Island"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\n<span data-contrast=\"auto\">Apple has opened its second store in Abu Dhabi at The Galleria on Al Maryah Island.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">This is Apple\u2019s fourth store in the UAE \u2013 outlets are also located in Dubai Mall, Mall of the Emirates in Dubai, and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">In homage to Apple\u2019s iconic New York boutique, Al Maryah Island\u2019s store features glass walls on all sides, while ficus trees line the interior.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Speaking ahead of the opening on Friday, February 25, <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Apple said: \u201cAl Maryah Island will have a front-row view of the waterfront promenade and will be a home for customers to explore their creativity, discover new products, and receive the best support from the new retail team.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The branch employs 80 members of staff from 28 countries.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Deirdre O\u2019Brien, Apple\u2019s senior vice president of retail and people, said: \u201cWe\u2019re celebrating the grand opening of Apple Al Maryah Island, bringing together a team that speaks more than 30 languages in a stunning new space.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u201cThis fantastic store invites visitors to discover our latest products and find the support that they need for the devices they own.
