Yoox Net-A-Porter appoints new general manager for Middle East

Yoox Net-A-Porter Group has announced the appointment of Celine Lefebvre as general manager for the Middle East.

With more than twenty years of experience in global brand management, sales, marketing, and business development, Ms Lefebvre joins the e-commerce company from the self-founded consultancy firm, Nomad Lux. 

Ad interim CEO of Yoox Net-A-Porter, Alison Loehnis, said: “The Middle East is a dynamic, high-growth region, and there is a great opportunity for us to continue to evolve and refine our service and product offering to a local clientele. 

“We are excited to welcome Celine to the business. She is an accomplished leader and, with her wealth of international experience and deep understanding of the luxury customer, she is well placed to drive forward our business strategy and ambitious growth plans.”

The new general manager who is due to start her new position on 23 May, will be focusing on optimising the customer experience by increasing localisation.

Made up of four multi-brand online stores, Net-A-Porter, Mr Porter, The Outnet and Yoox, Yoox Net-A-Porter is an online luxury and fashion retail company.

The company serves around 5.3 million customers across 180 countries through its network of offices and operations across the U.S., Europe, APAC and joint ventures with Alibaba in China and Symphony Investments in the Middle East.

It was in 2016 when the Italian online fashion retailer first entered the Middle East when Dubai-based billionaire Mohamed Alabbar bought into a 100 million euro capital increase by the company through his Alabbar Enterprises, which runs franchise operations in the Middle East and Asia.
