City Centre Bahrain, operated by Majid Al Futtaim, has received health, safety and operational guideline certificates for the successful operation of its mall activities.

.Commenting on the certifications, Mall director at City Centre Bahrain, Duaij Al Rumaihi, said: “This is a proud moment for us as we receive three prestigious certifications that demonstrate our commitment to the local community, ensuring their well-being with world-class retail experiences.

“It also reaffirms our responsibility to manage mall’s operations at the highest operational and safety standards, not only for visitors but also for our employees. As we strive to enhance our mall services and facilities as per international best practices, we hope to continue to delight visitors with unique shopping, entertainment, and leisure experiences in one place.”

As part of its image as a health-promoting mall, City Centre Bahrain has taken several measures to encourage a healthy lifestyle among its visitors such as the opening of the mall an hour before its official working hours for visitors to enjoy working around the mall and participating in community-focused health programmes.

In December, the shopping mall won three prestigious awards for its three successful campaigns – ‘Love for your country is the motive’, ‘Smiles for Ramadan’, and ‘Summer Vibes’ – at The Retail Congress Mena 2022.

Founded in 1992, Majid Al Futtaim owns and operates 29 shopping malls, 13 hotels and four mixed-use communities, with further developments underway in the region.
