Luxury brand Loewe launches store at Dubai Mall

Spanish luxury brand Loewe has opened a flagship store at the Dubai Mall as part of its expansion in the Middle East.

Ahead of the launch, the brand presented its first collection exclusive to the region. The range features ready-to-wear, bags and accessories made from luxurious silks and leathers.

On March 6, Loewe unveiled a new campaign with content creators from the Middle East to celebrate the store launch.

Casa Loewe Dubai carries the brand’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections and, in keeping with the brand’s art gallery-like retail concept, merges art with fashion.

This store is the latest in a string of other recent Loewe openings, such as its first shop in Amsterdam, inaugurated in December last year. The brand also opened a space in the KaDeWe department store in Berlin in 2022 and reopened the doors of its boutique in New York’s SoHo.

Three years ago, Loewe expanded its presence at the Dubai Mall by opening a second 216-square-metre shop next to its existing store. The other two stores in the region is located at the Mall of the Emirates.

“Under the curatorial eye of creative director Jonathan Anderson, hand-selected works from Loewe’s expanding anthology of international art and craft are found throughout the space,” the brand said.

The brand, now owned by French luxury conglomerate LVMH, is currently expanding its business and growing, and in 2021 (the latest year for which figures are available), sales rose by 38 per cent reaching €456 million.

Loewe is the oldest luxury fashion house of the LVMH Group, founded in Madrid in 1846.

According to a Mordor Intelligence report, the UAE luxury goods market is projected to grow at a compound annual growth rate of 5.20 per cent till 2028.
