Dubai-based food and grocery retailer Union Coop has launched a discount campaign that will last until the end of Ramadan 2023.
Managing director of Union Coop, Abdulla Mohammad Rafie Al Dallal, said: “We are pleased to launch our Ramadan promotional campaign for the year 2023 which will include discounts on a large number of basic and most consumed items by the public, whether food or non-food products.
“These offers and discounts will be launched in all branches and on its online store and Smart App periodically during the Ramadan campaign, all commodities, including food and beverages, electronics and household appliances, are included to meet the increasing demand throughout the month of Ramadan.”
Mr Al Dallal added that the campaign covers seven promotions, with discounts ranging between 60 per cent and 75 per cent.
According to a study released by provider of market research and consumer insights Toluna, consumer shopping intention in the UAE during Ramadan will rise by 33 per cent this year compared to 2022.
The survey noted that UAE shoppers are expecting more generosity from brands during the Holy Month, with 49 per cent of people hoping for better promotions.
