Geox to expand store network in Middle East

Through a renewed partnership with the Middle East distributor of international fashion brands Beside Group, Italian footwear brand Geox is planning to expand its presence in the GCC region.

Having generated around €10 million in revenue from the region, the partners have decided to extend the agreement for another 10 years during which they plan to bring the total number of outlets network to 25 by 2027.

CEO of Geox, Livio Libralesso, said: “We are excited to further develop the project with Beside. A partner that prioritises excellence across all touchpoints of our brand. This renewed partnership aligns with our long-term strategy to establish a premium positioning in the region.”

Today, Geox has 13 mono-brand stores located across key malls in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Qatar including Dubai Mall, Mall of Emirates, Jeddah Red Sea Mall and Doha Festival City Mall.

Beside has become the exclusive Geox retailer and distributor in the region three years ago, helping it develop a robust business plan. 

“Geox is a global brand recognised for its premium products that blend technical innovation, contemporary design and Italian style,” said managing director of Beside Group, Hisham Bedier.

“Our international perspective, strong local presence and commitment to preserving the DNA of all our brands make us an ideal match for Geox and its business strategy.”

Established in 1995, Beside Group is a go-to partner for international brands like Diesel, Fred Perry, Pinko and Scotch & Soda.
