The Dubai Mall has changed its name.
It will now be known as ‘Dubai Mall’, according to an announcement on TikTok.
All social media handles were changed to reflect the name change.
With 5,400,000 sq ft of total retail floor space, the mall contains more than 1,200 stores, restaurants and other services. The mall is part of Dubai’s Downtown area and attracted more than 84 million visitors in 2019, according to a statement by its owner, Emaar Properties.
Apart from retail shops, Dubai Mall is home to VR Park, which is the world’s largest indoor virtual reality theme park. The Dubai Ice Rink, an e-carting track, and the largest indoor aquarium and underwater zoo in the world are all located there.
