Vandana Bhalla is the marketing head of international business at Titan Company, an Indian manufacturer of watches, jewellery, and fashion accessories.
Established in 1984, Titan produces more than 15 million watches every year, with a customer base of more than 200 million in 32 countries across 11,000 points of sale. The company opened its first international store in Dubai last year for its brand Tanishq.
What is the best way to start your day?
Taking a walk, listening to my favourite music, humming songs loudly and finishing off with some breathing exercises. Then I am ready to face the day.

Amitabh Bachchan from his Angry Young Man days. Changing the world with a burning desire.
What is your greatest achievement?
Building a life I always dreamt of.
What advice would you give your 13-year-old self?
Just drop all the inhibitions, be yourself and live life to the fullest! Nobody’s bothered!
If you had 24 hours left on Earth, what would you do?
If I had 24 hours left on Earth, I would spend it with my daughter at a theme park and go on all the scary rides!
Who or what is your biggest inspiration?
I look for inspiration all around – my parents, my husband, my friends, my colleagues, sportspeople, and movie stars, etc. Inspiration can come from the strangest of places.
What would you like to achieve in the next 10 years?
I would like to grow spiritually to achieve a peaceful state of mind at all times.
